Main Tracks
The main attraction of the facility is a 3.75 mile full circuit competition level racetrack. The track can be run as the full circuit or can be operated as two separate tracks, a north track and a south track, measuring 1.7 and 2.1 miles respectively. The track takes advantage of the natural terrain and preserves the features of the land as it rises and falls through former cornfields, driving through preserved hedgerows and around natural wooded areas. It utilizes elevation changes and over 20 turns to challenge any level of driver.
The benefit of the two track design is that driving schools or other similar events can utilize one track leaving the other track open for member use. This allows members to have access to the track on nearly all days of operation. The exception will be special weekend events that would require the use of both tracks.
Kart Track
KCI Motorsports Park will also be home to a .73 mile championship standard Kart track. This track may be utilized by Kart vehicles or for car or motorcycle driver training purposes. KCI Motorsports Park will be an amenity to members while becoming a regional focal point for championship level kart racing.
Track Design
The designer of our track is the internationally recognized Alan Wilson of Wilson Motorsports. With his extensive experience gained at more than 175 race tracks over 36 years, Alan brings a unique perspective to the business of motor sport at all levels. His intense commitment to safety and challenging design make his tracks favorites among racers. While maintaining a strong commitment to safety, the track has also been designed so that all standards of performance driving, amateur competition and professional competition have been met. Alan has been and will continue working closely with us throughout the development of the project to ensure all aspects of safety and design are being properly realized.

Safety
Safety is of the utmost importance to the KCI Motorsports Park. We have taken the following precautions to help maximize the safety of the drivers and protect their vehicles:
- The racetrack will have level and wide, smooth run-off areas with tire walls well off the racing line to minimize the risk of damage to vehicles and injury to participants. The road course is approximately 40 feet wide and lined on both sides by grass surfaced safety zones graded to the same longitudinal and cross grades as the track.
- Before ever going onto the course drivers will be required to attend a driver safety training event that will, among other things, teach the physics of high-performance motoring, car control techniques and safety measures.
- All vehicles must be inspected by the track technician to ensure mechanical safety prior to being allowed on the track.
- Employees will be trained as first responders to react before emergency response reaches the site. Rental agreements require that outside groups renting the facility must provide an EMT onsite during use.
- The facility will employ 24-hour security as well as an electronic surveillance system in order to prevent trespassing and discourage unauthorized users from entering the track as well as ensuring security to the facility and inventory.
